Remini, known for sitcoms including The King of Queens, Kevin Can Wait, Saved by the Bell and First Time Out, is the latest celebrity addition to the Beverly Hills franchise.
According to sources cited by Deadline, her casting will place her alongside a group that includes Kyle Richards, Dorit Kemsley, Sutton Stracke, Erika Jayne, Rachel Zoe and Bozoma Saint John.
The move also marks another return to unscripted television for Remini. She previously fronted Leah Remini: It’s All Relative on TLC and appeared in the documentary series Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath, which focused on her investigation of the Church of Scientology after she left the organization.
New Faces in Season 16
Remini is not the only new addition to the upcoming season. Tracy Tutor, known from Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles, has also joined RHOBH.
Tutor announced the move on Instagram on August 19, describing Beverly Hills as her home and saying she was excited about the next chapter. Her casting brings an established Bravo personality from one franchise into another.
The addition gives Season 16 a mix of longtime reality personalities and newcomers, although Bravo has not yet confirmed which Season 15 cast members will return.
Cast Changes
One confirmed departure is Amanda Frances, who will not return after one season on the reality series.
Frances addressed her exit on social media, reflecting on her experience with the cast, viewers and the opportunity to discuss her work and metaphysics on the show. She said she entered the series with an already-full life and that her current priorities require her attention.
Her departure means the Season 16 lineup remains subject to further changes as Bravo determines the returning cast.
Remini’s addition is notable because her television background extends beyond scripted comedy. Her previous unscripted projects gave audiences a different view of her life and interests, while RHOBH places her within an established ensemble-based reality format.
The upcoming season therefore represents a new television setting for Remini while continuing Bravo’s practice of introducing recognizable personalities into its established franchises.
Bravo has not confirmed the complete Season 16 cast, so additional casting information and returning Housewives remain pending. Remini and Tutor are the newly reported additions, while Frances has confirmed her departure.
