Carla Jeffery Dies at 33
Carla jaffery who played Bree in Disney’s ZOMBIES franchise, has died at 33. Her passing was announced on September 1, 2026, by the talent agency that represented her for more than two decades.
Alexander’s Talent Management said it had worked with Jeffery since she was 12. In its statement, the agency remembered the actress’s journey from childhood into adulthood and asked the public to give her family and loved ones privacy.
No cause of death has been released publicly.
Jeffery became particularly familiar to Disney audiences through her role as Bree, one of the students at Seabrook High and a close friend of Addison.
She joined the franchise with the first ZOMBIES movie in 2018. She later returned as Bree in ZOMBIES 2 and ZOMBIES 3, making the character part of her most recognizable body of work.
Her involvement did not end with the films. Jeffery also voiced Bree in ZOMBIES: The Re-Animated Series, allowing her to continue portraying the character in the animated version of the franchise.
Long before her Disney work, Jeffery started acting at 12. Her first credited film role came in Phat Girlz, released in 2006.
She subsequently appeared in a range of television productions, including Good Luck Charlie, Shake It Up! and Best Friends Whenever. Her other credits included Curb Your Enthusiasm, Southland, American Vandal, iCarly, Game Shakers and Suburgatory.
Born in Houston, Texas, Jeffery worked across both television and film during a career that began when she was a child.
News of Jeffery’s death was also shared through her Instagram account, according to the supplied report.
Her agency’s statement focused on remembering the actress while asking for space for those closest to her. No additional details about the circumstances of her death were provided.
