The Duchess of Sussex was seen during a daytime outing at The Three Horseshoes, an 18th-century pub in the Windrush Valley area of the Cotswolds. Photographs obtained by Page Six showed Meghan alongside DeGeneres and her wife, Portia de Rossi.
The meeting brought together friends who share a connection to both California and the English countryside. DeGeneres and de Rossi previously lived in Montecito, where Meghan and Harry also established their home after leaving their former royal roles.
According to InStyle, the couple moved to the Cotswolds in November 2024, meaning their latest meeting with Meghan took place after the two households became neighbors again in Britain. The outing therefore connected Meghan’s previous California social circle with her family’s new surroundings.
Meghan kept her appearance casual for the pub visit. She wore cropped white trousers with a light blue button up shirt and flat white shoes, while black sunglasses and a dark jacket completed the relaxed look. Page Six reported that witnesses saw the three women chatting and laughing during their time at the venue.
Prince Harry was not part of the Cotswolds gathering. Instead, he appeared alone in London for the 2026 WellChild Awards, arriving in a navy blazer and matching trousers with a white shirt and black tie.
The separate appearances gave Meghan and Harry different public schedules on the same day, with Meghan photographed during an informal meeting and Harry attending a formal charity event.
The outing also highlights the continuing personal connection between Meghan, DeGeneres and de Rossi. Their relationship predates the Sussexes’ return to Britain, while the move of DeGeneres and de Rossi to the Cotswolds has brought the longtime acquaintances into the same local community again.
Page Six’s photographs provide the first widely reported images of Meghan publicly socializing in Britain since the family’s return. An earlier reported sighting at Soho Farmhouse was not photographed, according to IBTimes UK.
