Robert Kelker Kelly, a veteran daytime television actor known for roles on Days of Our Lives, General Hospital and Another World, has died at 62. TMZ was first to report his death.
Kelker-Kelly died Oct. 3 in Missouri. No cause of death has been publicly revealed.
His most prominent role came on Days of Our Lives, where he assumed the part of Bo Brady in 1992 after Peter Reckell. During his run, Kelker Kelly starred alongside Kristian Alfonso and Lisa Rinna before Reckell returned to the role in 1995.

The actor also built a substantial résumé on other daytime dramas. He appeared in 42 episodes of General Hospital between 2001 and 2014 as Stavros Cassadine. Earlier in his career, he appeared in more than 400 episodes of Another World from 1987 to 1998, portraying characters including Sam Fowler, Bobby Reno and Shane Roberts.
Kelker Kelly received two Soap Opera Digest Awards. He won Outstanding Lead Actor in 1994 and later shared the 1995 Hottest Soap Couple award with Rinna.
His professional connection with Rinna drew renewed attention earlier this year following the publication of her memoir, You Better Believe I’m Gonna Talk About It. Kelker Kelly did not respond to allegations discussed in the book.
Rinna has not publicly commented on Kelker Kelly’s death, while fans have posted tributes online remembering his work in daytime television.
