Festival moves from Miami as organizers unveil star-studded lineup
Orlando, Fla., Jan. 14, 2026 Rolling Loud, one of the world’s largest hip-hop music festivals, announced Wednesday that its 2026 edition will take place from May 8–10 at Orlando’s Camping World Stadium, with Playboi Carti, YoungBoy Never Broke Again, and Don Toliver headlining.
The move from Miami to Orlando marks a major shift in the festival’s history, organizers said, as the event continues to attract fans and performers from around the globe.
Since its founding in 2015, Rolling Loud has become a landmark event in hip-hop culture, known for its high-energy performances and its roster of both established and emerging artists.
Unlike many music festivals that rotate headliners, Rolling Loud frequently rebooks popular performers. Carti will headline for the sixth time, while Don Toliver, who recently led the India edition, joins YoungBoy Never Broke Again for his first Orlando top-billing.
EsDeeKid, Chief Keef, Destroy Lonely, and SexxyRed are among the additional artists scheduled to perform over the three-day festival, providing a mix of mainstream and underground rap acts, according to a statement from Rolling Loud organizers.
The move to Orlando allows us to expand the festival experience, said Jordan Fields, Rolling Loud’s creative director. Camping World Stadium offers more capacity and flexibility for fans while still keeping the energy and culture of Miami.
Experts in the live music industry noted that the relocation reflects broader trends in festival planning, where logistical capacity and local support increasingly drive decisions.
Orlando is an attractive market for large-scale events because of its infrastructure and accessibility, said Megan Hall, a music industry consultant based in Miami. The combination of top-tier headliners like Playboi Carti, YoungBoy, and Don Toliver ensures strong ticket sales and media coverage.
Analysts also noted that frequent rebooking of artists can strengthen festival branding. Rolling Loud has cultivated loyalty among performers and fans,Hall said.
Having repeat headliners like Carti keeps audiences returning year after year, which is vital in a competitive festival landscape.
Rolling Loud’s 2026 edition will be one of the largest hip-hop gatherings in the United States this year, with an estimated 80,000 attendees per day, according to industry projections.
For comparison, the festival drew approximately 75,000 per day at its 2025 Miami edition. Globally, Rolling Loud has expanded to locations in Europe, Asia, and North America, underscoring its position as one of the world’s fastest-growing hip-hop festivals.
Local Orlando resident Carlos Martinez said he welcomed the festival. It’s exciting to have something like this here. It will bring music, energy, and economic benefits to the city, he said.
Meanwhile, Miami-based festivalgoer Tasha Green expressed mixed feelings about the move. I’ve always loved the Miami vibe at Rolling Loud. Orlando is different, but I’ll follow the festival wherever it goes,” she said.
City officials also highlighted the economic impact. “Hosting Rolling Loud in Orlando is expected to generate millions in revenue for hotels, restaurants, and local businesses,” said Sharon Patel, spokesperson for Orlando’s tourism bureau.
It’s a positive boost for the community while maintaining a safe, organized environment for attendees.”
Organizers said the festival is exploring technological innovations, including enhanced stage production and interactive fan experiences, to maintain its competitive edge.
We want to make Rolling Loud 2026 an unforgettable experience,” Fields said. “This move gives us room to innovate while keeping the essence of the festival intact.
Industry watchers predict continued growth for the festival, citing the increasing global demand for hip-hop events. Rolling Loud’s model of repeat headliners and high-profile collaborations positions it for long-term success, Hall said.
Rolling Loud 2026 will mark a significant moment for both the festival and Orlando, as Playboi Carti, YoungBoy Never Broke Again, and Don Toliver lead a multi-day celebration of hip-hop culture.
With a mix of established and emerging artists, expanded venue capacity, and strong local support, the festival is set to continue its trajectory as a premier global hip-hop event.
