- Billy Ray Cyrus and Elizabeth Hurley are reportedly engaged after more than a year together, according to reports by Page Six.

Billy Ray Cyrus and Elizabeth Hurley are reportedly engaged, marking a new chapter in a relationship that surprised fans when the American country singer and British actress went public with their romance in 2025.
Page Six reported the engagement after Hurley was spotted wearing a large diamond ring. A source dismissed suggestions that the jewelry was merely a filming accessory, pointing out that Hurley was working on The ‘Burbs but indicating the ring was not a prop.
Cyrus, 65, added to the speculation with an Instagram post on Thursday featuring a ring emoji. Hurley’s son, Damian, responded with a celebratory emoji, while Cyrus described his circumstances as standing on the most fertile, solid ground he had experienced in a long time.
The singer also referenced a possible connection to a ring while promoting his new single, “Party’s in the Back,” with Deltona. He mentioned an upcoming event involving NASCAR in Phoenix. However, neither a direct public confirmation from the couple nor an official representative’s statement was included in the reports.
Cyrus and Hurley first met while working on the 2022 holiday film Christmas in Paradise. Their relationship developed after they reconnected in February 2025, eventually becoming public on Easter Sunday that year.
Their different professional backgrounds initially made the pairing seem unusual. Cyrus became widely known for his country music career and his portrayal of Robby Ray Stewart, Miley Cyrus’ on-screen father in Disney Channel’s Hannah Montana. Hurley established her international profile through modeling and acting, including roles in Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery and Bedazzled.
Hurley addressed the apparent contrast during an appearance on the SheerLuxe podcast earlier this month. She said they had more similarities than people might expect, joking that their hair was nearly identical apart from Cyrus’ beard.
Their connection extends beyond entertainment. In a May interview with Page Six, Hurley explained that Cyrus’ Tennessee farm reminded her of her own property in Gloucestershire, England.
She described their countryside routine in a June interview with People, mentioning gardening with power tools, watching birds of prey and lighting bonfires. Cyrus, meanwhile, often plays guitar beneath a tree.
The quieter lifestyle offers insight into what the couple share away from public appearances. Both have described similarities in their experiences of fame and personal challenges, despite coming from different entertainment backgrounds.
The reported engagement would represent another marriage for both celebrities.Cyrus was previously married to Cindy Smith from 1986 to 1991 and Tish Cyrus from 1993 until their separation, with their divorce finalized in 2023. He married Australian singer Firerose that year, but their marriage ended in 2024. Firerose accused him of abuse, which Cyrus denied.
Hurley married businessman Arun Nayar in 2007, and they divorced in 2011. She was later engaged to Australian cricket star Shane Warne; they separated in 2013. Warne died in 2022. Hurley also shares son Damian with the late producer Steve Bing.
For now, the reported engagement signals a potential new beginning for Cyrus and Hurley. The ring sightings and social media clues have prompted speculation, but further direct confirmation of their wedding plans remains unavailable in the supplied reports.
The relationship brings together two established figures whose careers developed in different industries. Their shared interest in rural life, along with their comments about understanding each other’s experiences in show business, provides context for a romance that became public in 2025.
