Taylor Made gained wider attention in 2012 after releasing the single “Things You Don’t Grow Out Of.” The band also became known for opening performances for established country artists, including Miranda Lambert and Dierks Bentley.
Duckworth’s niece, Brianna Duckworth Kazner, remembered him in an emotional social media tribute. She recalled growing up watching her father, Wendy and Brian perform at fairs and festivals before eventually joining them herself.
Kazner also described turning to her uncle when she began writing her own music. She said his ability with song lyrics helped her whenever she became creatively stuck.
Her memories extended beyond music, including nights spent singing, phone calls filled with jokes and Duckworth proudly wearing her “Go Duck” shirt while performing at a ribbon-cutting event.
Kazner also shared a video of Duckworth singing at her wedding. Reflecting on the times they performed together, she wrote that the number of those moments would never have been enough.

Duckworth is survived by his wife, Tina Scheuvront Duckworth, and their six children. His family also includes four grandchildren and five brothers and sisters.
The obituary said his love of family, music and the outdoors would remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
