Priscilla Presley made a rare public appearance alongside her son Navarone Garibaldi Garcia during a visit to Baesweiler, Germany, on Tuesday, Oct. 20. The 81 year old actress participated in an event that reportedly included signing the town’s golden book and answering questions about her life with her former husband, Elvis Presley.
During her address, Priscilla expressed her appreciation to the audience before introducing Navarone, 39, who joined her onstage.
Navarone told the gathering he was happy to travel with his mother and thanked attendees for their warm reception. Priscilla smiled as he spoke, creating a personal moment during their joint appearance.

The outing offered a glimpse of the relationship between mother and son, whose family history includes years of challenges related to Navarone’s struggles with substance addiction.
In a 2025 cover story with PEOPLE, Priscilla discussed the difficult experience of helping Navarone overcome addiction. She said he approached her for assistance getting off fentanyl two weeks after the death of her grandson Benjamin Keough, who died by suicide.
Priscilla recalled witnessing her son’s physical suffering during withdrawal. She described massaging his legs when he complained of pain and said the experience helped her understand how difficult withdrawal could be.
According to her account, Navarone endured 22 days of withdrawal before his condition began to improve. His recovery later encountered another setback when he relapsed on heroin.
Priscilla said her son eventually asked for help again, telling her he wanted to stop using drugs and no longer wanted to cause her pain. She agreed to support him, and he stayed at her home while she remained close to him throughout the withdrawal process.

The actress said Navarone attended rehabilitation three or four times. She later reported that he had remained sober and was doing well, describing his recovery as a lengthy process that ultimately depended on his readiness to change.
Priscilla shares Navarone with her former partner, Marco Garibaldi. The couple separated in 2006 after more than two decades together.
She also had a daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, with Elvis Presley. Lisa Marie died in 2023 at age 54. Her son Benjamin’s death had a profound place in the family circumstances surrounding Navarone’s earlier request for help, according to Priscilla’s account.
Navarone has also faced public criticism over his efforts to raise $5,500 for an industrial pizza oven. Some critics questioned why he did not seek financial assistance from his mother.
Responding on Instagram, he explained that he had bills and a budget of his own, pushing back against assumptions about his access to family money.
He later told TMZ that Priscilla liked the idea behind his pizza business. However, he said he could not ask her to fund every new idea he pursued, adding that doing so could leave both of them without money.
The comments offered a separate glimpse into Navarone’s efforts to pursue his own interests while managing expectations associated with his famous family.
As their appearance in Germany showed, Priscilla and Navarone remain publicly connected, while his earlier recovery and independent ambitions provide important context to their relationship.
Priscilla’s public life has long been associated with Elvis Presley, but her latest appearance also brought attention to her relationship with Navarone. Her previous account of supporting him through addiction provides a more personal perspective on their family bond beyond their connection to the Presley name.
